gas tanks and foam
Hi
Any metal tank will expand at a different rate than the foam and this
will break the bond between the foam and the metal. Air, laden with
moisture, will get in and the moisture will condense out and collect
between the foam and the metal. With the possible exception of monel,
all metals will start to corrode, eventually the gas will leak out,
and that is bad news.
