If this is a real problem for anyone I run a mail server for my own use.
It can be configured to do about anything you can imagine. It runs a
mailer that was designed in the early days with store and forward
capability. I don't make full use of it. The mailer can sort incoming
mail into folders and send you a single email with the headers. I don't
normally use it this way I move them to another account that download once
I get to a fast link or back home.

I will be glad to try to work out a solution for you if you want. This
isn't an Ad there wouldn't be a charge at lest for the fist ones.
