hello Mike!
Just measured for you:
Tabernakel is 152x95 mm each post
Mast at partners is 150X157, at the top it looks like 100 dia
Length of mast is unchanged, but different taper. No lead-block attached, all wooden mast heel/foot (?) instead.
Yard and boom/battens close to Hasler/McLeod formula.
Mast is larch, yard/boom is pine.
Anyone building or converting an AS29 feel free to contact me: jitsuzan at yahoo dot de
In September TARA shall go down the River Rhein.
reg. wise words:
"Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend."

Thanks for updating here, and please do continue to. Also thanks for help re Jim Melcher and JRA.
Any chance we could get the specs for the main mast, yard and battens you used on TARA?
Thanks...Mike Allison... (North of Kansas City Mo. USA),

There is not much headroom in our sharpie, when sitting on the toilet though. But I manage. Still have to find the right spot for the vent opening. You don't want to blow the smell just under your boat cover during the winter months.
You can build one by yourself. Info is on the net.

Whatever I had choosen, it had been transom hung.

The stove was a bargain and is already replaced by two Prabhat No.1 single burner stoves. The gimbaled potholder a la ATOM (James Baldwin) is in the making :-) For baking, Yuki uses very successfully an Swedish Omnia oven.

Gorgeous boat.. but what caught my eye, was the ancient-looking outboard motor (last photo) -- more details, please! Is that just a big Seagull, or something much more rare like an old Penta? is it low-rpm?

Hey, that looks smoking hot! Did you build her yourself? You should cross post to theYahoo Junk group. What’s with the“natures head”? Details please.
Looks like just the boat for a run down the Main, over the top to the Danube and the Black Sea…!
