RE: [bolger] Micro for sale or plans

I have two Micros for sale, one finished and in great shape, the other very well built but in need of final trim and paint, and sails and motor. It has a trailer.

My complete boat, which my daughter and I are taking to the Mystic Small Craft Workshop and boat show this weekend, is $4200 and a great deal at the price.

The other one is just what I paid for it, $700, plus 15%. I also have good almost-new sails for it, $400 plus 15%.

Both can be seen on the yahoo group Bolger4Sale. The finished one has various photos on my website,www.adirondackgoodboat.com.

Hi all,

After much research I am more and more and convinced that the Micro is right for me.

Here were my main criterion:

- Light to tow by a regular small car (1000lbs)
- Fit in my garage...I think the Micro will, may have to modify the trailer tongue a bit to close the garage door.
- Quick to launch
- Sleep aboard for two (camping style), maybe 4 with a boom tent or even a shore tent.
- Seaworthy enough for the great lakes

So, with this in mind, my search for a vessel starts...or if that fails, someone may have plans they are not using. Did I mention that I am a tightwad? An expensive divorce will do that to someone! LOL

I used to own a WWP19, and it was a great boat...but that's also gone in lawyers fees from my previous life!

I am not averse to building my own, I did build a Clancy once from a book.

Thanks for any hints or tips!
