Re: [bolger] Re: Bolger Design List --- 360 round figure missing number count

Yes, 505 a new one!

Also, I have added a feature to my design listing where you can jump
directly to a numbered design by appending "#000" to the url.

So for this new boat #505 "Robert Blessing",

http://hallman.org/bolger/isometrics#505

...takes you directly to the listing. Similar with the other numbered designs:

Was this numbering system solely for proprietory designs available from the PCB design office, or was it also consistently applied to designs for other plan sales proprietors such as Jim Orrell?

I recall reading PCB explain his numbering somewhere, but forget where. His numbering system prior to roughly 1960 were "numbered" with MO-YR-(# of that year), then phased into (# of total)-MO-YR after about design #100, then roughly around #145 dropped the MO-YR prefix.

My listing of his designs presently has 543 distinct designs (about 115 designs have the design number missing) and this includes some that were never numbered (typically concept preliminary designs, about 50).

Giving this a bump again...

I have recently discovered a way to include hyperlinks to the Yahoo
Bolger Group "files", (though you must already have joined and be
logged into the respective Bolger Yahoo groups).

Plus hyperlinks to the Instantboats website. I have added these to my
'isometric' compendium.

Personally I am finding this to be a convenient research tool, helpful
to study and understand the PB&F opus. You might find these newly
added links useful too, I am sharing this tool here:
