We found on the 39'x7' powerboat project that 99% of the time dry-wall screws would do fine using epoxy which explicitly does not want to be clamped too tight... Still, there were a few clamping episodes. And when you need them, you really need them.

I just posted a description into the Files > Hardware folder about how to "build" long F clamps by extending the stem using a shelf (rail and brackets) system.
Hope it helps somebody, if clamping over long lengths (e.g. 4 or 6 feet) is required, but the long clamps in the shop are just too expensive.
I uploaded for now only to the Bolger group (boxy boats might need clamps over the whole beam), but feel free to advise me of other groups where it might help.
If somebody had the same idea already and people know about it, then tell me and I will delete the file again.
Cheers,
Stefan
