Re: [bolger] Hope all is well on Atlantic street!

Thank you for the concern.
Beyond a few noisy gusts and a few bands of heavier rain, this was actually less than a feisty Nor'Easter for Cape Ann, MA.  Unusually so, 6hrs of no electricity in this Mainland/West-Gloucester neighborhood while Gloucester remained well-lit.

No tarps over boats blew off.
All political yard-signs still stand, with one a bit battered.
All Democratic of course...
Phil voted for Obama, in part eager to see America's diversity reflected in the White House for once as well; he asked me to call him whenever Michelle Obama was in TV...  As a volunteer he served between '46 and '47 and saw the segregated Army, with no Black soldiers in the same wardroom - but oddly a rich mix of Polynesian, Hawaiian, Nisei, amongst a Jew from New York City, a Georgia 'Cracker', him as the New England Yankee, etc.  So in his life-time he saw a major improvement towards civilized behavior with three generations of Black folks living, working but this time also leading this country in the White House, and representing the US to the world as well.  Despite being a card-carrying Libertarian, in light of the heavy work accomplished and the values represented he might vote for the President again...

How is your boat ?  Any photos of her running ?  Any Cruising-Reports ?
Perhaps I missed them.
Would make a good MAIB story, if not WOODENBOAT piece - as you now doubt have plotted towards...
