How about Rozwell, NM?
PHV
Boys,
I say this guy Martinus is serious. He really wants to buy a
boat from us. Here's my plan:
Let's build him one of Phil's big, steel sharpies. If we
each take out only about $2500 in credit card debt we have
enough to get started. If Martinus pays $1.5 million + the
typical cost overrun, we'll make an honest profit with
enough for a split to PB&F, and have some fun into the bargain.
The only uncertainty is where to do the job. Martinus sounds
vaguely European to me, so my first thought is maybe Pippo's
back yard. But we might all have trouble getting there
before the boat is finished. Same thing for Australia. So
someplace central in the US seems best. What about Oklahoma?
Very sincerely,
Mark

Martinus, baby:
Yes! I will sell you my ship, but not for target practice.
It is a 16', plywood, fiberglass, and polyurethane foam
beauty, powered by a .4 hp electric outboard motor. It is
green in color w/ varnished interior and decks. Weight is
.05 ton. Included are 105 ah battery, oars, life jackets and
a small safety horn. Registry is Oregon state, USA. FOB
Portland $1600.
