All, The 25th annual Georgetown wooden boat
show in Georgetown S.C. will be held for two days on Sat. Oct. 18th and 19th. I
plan on being there with my boat Spartina. She will be for sale. This is the
same boat that was built in 1992 by Dave Montgomery at his boat yard in
Gloucester, MA. This is the boat that is featured in Phil's book Boats with an
Open Mind. She was completely over hauled in 2010 and only sailed several times
since. When I got the plans for the over haul Phil wrote to me that he had
sailed her and liked her very much. She comes with a trailer and all of the
provenance to support it's heritage. Hope to see you there.
