Photos of Birdwatcher "Woodwind" posted. In northern Door County, WI. $1500. Pics show jury-rigged broker tiller, also modified rudder post and tiller system. The tiller and rudder were built according to plans initially, then modified by the builder. Plans included, the tiller could be changed back to the original configuration. New tires and wheels on the trailer, but I have not repacked the bearings. Not sure if lights work - I no longer have a vehicle with an electrical plug. The electric motor comes with the boat - I have never used it, so I can't guarantee it runs ( I assume it should, though). Dan at danknoedler@...

Birdwatcher for sale in Wisconsin. Built by Canadian Tim Coughlin. Gunter rig with jib, tanbark sails with very minimal use, like new. Tiller/rudder system built to original specs, then modified for traditional tiller with lines to rudder. Should be rebuilt to original, I think - tiller snapped mid-shaft last time out (but rudder completely intact). Paid $5,000 but will entertain all offers $1,500 plus. On rusty but serviceable trailer. Pics available in a few weeks when I get back to WI. Replies to danknoedler@...
