Re: [bolger] The Sixth Anniversary... and the work continues

Photo won’t arrive today before the Group.
I’ll try for better lighting tomorrow.
At the best time today I was on the road south to grab an armful of Sunday editions to share with key folks; in print this takes up a full-size page incl. their photo-selection.
Gratifying to see our effort and grief for so many (incl. us) outlined in this paper.
Onwards.

Good morning All.

Exactly like that day then, this May 24th is a Sunday.  And like then it, will be a bright warm Spring morning at 09:13.

I’ll offer a photo of the headstone later today with the just completed addition of the Veteran’s marker placed just two days ago.
That delay in getting this DOD-sponsored process initiated and finally concluded is mostly on me.

And here ‘hot-off-the-presses’ a piece in the newspaper-of-record of New Bedford, MA, the US’ most productive fishing-port by catch-value – mostly from scalloping actually (!).
The very fishing-friendlyNew Bedford Standard Timesaccepted this view from within Gloucester’s Working Waterfront on the tragedy of poor policies by regulators and industry-heads damaging resource, fleet, and communities, and of course PB&F as well.

Feel free to pass this link along to your preferred journalist, daily, magazine, politician who might resonate with the tenor of the argument.
The ‘cause’ needs all the help we can get.

There should be more good news from here later this week.
