Re: [bolger] Bolger Clam Skiff article in September Small Boats Monthly

Boat looks great. I love a skiff. Lots of epoxy work will assure the boat will last a long time. How has exposure to epoxy affected you? I would buy a boat before using a lot of epoxy. Black in the day, I used way to much polyester resin. Some epoxy but what almost killed me was Toner dust inhaled while repairing and servicing copying machines. My lungs barely work. The stand by glue for me is Titebond II. Good luck. Chief

Congrats on possibly getting exposure in Woodenboat. That's a great job and a very nice looking boat. You just don't have enough c-clamps, however.

Gee what a nice shop!

Looks like Small Boats Monthly, the digital companion to WoodenBoat, may publish an article about my build of the Bolger Clam Skiff (design #606) in the September issue of the digital magazine. Editor Chris Cunningham has been very supportive of my efforts, and has even encouraged my brother, for whom I built the boat, to shoot video of it out on the lake. I also wrote a "techniques" sidebar for the article that may be of interest. Pictures of the build are here on my Flickr page:https://www.flickr.com/photos/old_salt7/albums/72157646777724582  and I will try to get a few of the best pictures up on this Yahoo forum as well.
