Re: [bolger] Bolger Striker 25
After a rather arduous yahoo frenemy process of just banging away without any clues as to why it's such a problem those google books screen captures are now in aphoto album titled "Bolger 25 - An Unusual Cruiser".
When are they going to fix user unfriendly "Photos", I wonder.
Yahoo seems to have placed the bulk of my last message below "Hide message history"! ! ! They doesn't like links or google books?
I've snipped 5 off page screen captures of that Boating Jul 1965Bolger 25 - An Unusual Cruiserarticle - they're not the clearest, nor the tiniest files, but I don't know of another way to save that content off google books viewer for my Bolger archives...
Pans for this new 25' cruiser are available for $45 from Popular Boating Plans Department. c/- Ziff-Davis Service Division, 589 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10012. Included are designer's specifications and instructions keyed to detailed drawings. Make check or money order payable to POPULAR BOATING. Sorry, but COD's cannot be accepted. Please remit US currency.
25ft it is - my misread.
Yes it is different. Do you access the cabin on the starboard side ducking under the 'bridge deck"or is there a centred hatch the skipper in the photo is standing on?
Is theStriker 25pictured there a plywood built boat by Striker boats of Miami?
That photo is also elsewhere: 1958 Magazine Photo Striker 25 Boats Designed by Phillip Bolger Miami,FL
Its 25
from the ad. It has a conventional look when you first glance and then you look
closer and see all sorts of stuff you never saw on a sportsfisherman before. I
would love to see more just for the entertainment value. I wonder if any of them
are still around?
