I’ve been aboard her.
Initially she had a much-reduced rig, with the assumption that owner/sailor Shemaya Laurel might not be able to physically manage the boat with more due a serious medical condition.
She still went way Down-East anyway.

This rig should do better.
We’d have counseled a well-battened gaff-main with lots of reefs but much less of the chafe-potential and the asymmetries of the Junk-rig.
Hopes for a gratifying voyage in spectacular and at times demanding waters.
We’ll get to track progress...

been intending to make the trek from Seattle to see the start of the R2AK
someday, I should do it this year!
