Pippo, it would be great. Also probably a more productive use of your
time than continuing to respond one-off to the peculiarities of
rec.boats.building. Echoing everyone else's warnings tho', get the boat
built. Reasons why: the last update of Light Schooner/Square Boats
occupied me for the equivalent of 80 hours. That's every bit of spare
time, save for a painting session in Lady Kate, of the last two weeks.
That's simply an update, not designing and writing the life-dominating
thing in the first place!
For me, that's a displacement activity. A whole lot of work and family
matters are still stopping me getting out on the water much, or
completing Lady Kate to the point where visitors don't automatically
fall overboard and the galley doesn't finish on the sole in a knockdown.
Your displacement activity should be building!

Pippo,
I'd welcome a central source of Micro information.
On The Other Hand,
the time to maintain such a site has to come from somewhere. Less sleep? :)

Dear all, thanks. I appreciate your warnings. However, as you may have
noticed, my Micro site is very straightforward: no Java, simple
links... I would keep everything as such. I'll wait for other answers...

easily grow to become encylopedic and a time monster that would rob you
of opportunities to work on your own Micro.

Be careful, Pippo, or you will soon be spending so much time on your website
that you will never finish that Micro. I know all about it.

Dear all - while still agonizing to get the plywood for my Micro, I'm
thinking on how to improve my Micro web site. A few things came to my
mind:
1) A Micro "hall of fame" or "gallery": info and pics from all the Micro
owners/builders
2) A Micro "quasi real time project registry" (like Glen-L's)
3) A "Micro Bullettin" (something like Bill Samson's "Chebacco News")
which I would edit with contributions from everybody.
Let me know what you think!
