Peter,
Links worked fine for me. She's a pretty thing. Thanks for the pics.

Those of you interested big sharpies might be interested in the
Soundwaters Eagle. I don't have her dimensions at hand, but I think
she is about 65 feet. They call her a schooner, but she has three
masts and the middle one is the tallest.
I believe she is a flat bottom starpie with a keel. She was built of
steel somewhere on the mid-Atlantic coast maybe 30 years ago. At the
current time, she serves and educational/environmental organization
called Soundwaters (www.soundwaters.org) which is dedicated to
preserving and restoring Long Island sound. She is often out on the
sound with schoolchildren, and we see her out in the evenings with
adults.
I took some pictures of her yesterday. They are posted on my free,
but cranky, ISP. If the links don't work, try again later. I'll be
testing them myself. Enjoy.

You can see that she was designed with un-Bolger ideas about
sharpies: the stem is immersed.

into the browser seemed to work better. Good luck. I don't want to
take up file space for pictures of a non-Bolger boat.
