Looking for a way to the water..in Connecticut
I learned yesterday that the state of Connecticut publishes
the "Connecticut Coastal Access Guide" which reveals to one and
all "Connecticut's well-known and not-so-well-known coastal public
access areas in an easy-to-use map format ranging from a small
privately owned historic parklet in Greenwich to the expansive salt
marshes of Barn Island State Wildlife Management Area in Stonington."
I think copies are free. See
http://www.dep.state.ct.us/whatshap/press/1999/dg0527.htm
and find all the places you can launch your Bolger boat in CT.
Incidently, CT also maintains many public ramps on lakes and rivers.
You can find descriptions of some by using the search engine at
http://dep.state.ct.us(search on "boat ramp.").
