into the compartment where the gas tanks are.&nbsp; I also decided to make a 
small hatch over the closed compartment just fwd of the engine.&nbsp; Like you, 
I want to know what is going on in these areas.&nbsp; I will still vent this 
area.&nbsp; I know that this is down the road for you, but I also installed a 
lawrance 160 gps with speed, depth and water temp.&nbsp; Nice unit and good
