Re: [bolger] Space in files

Greg,

As the "owner" of the Oldshoe list, I would be happy to "loan" you some
of our file storage space if you can't get some additional space just by
asking for it. Our group is slow right now. Of course, the problem may be
in the way things are programmed, getting more space or acheiving a "swap"
may be technically time consuming and egroups may not want to take the time
to do it.

Oldshoe is a 12 ft Bolger Cat-ketch with a 200lb keel. Some have called
it a Mini Micro. For those who are interested

Regards, Warren
Another solution to our space problem might be a quick note to
egroups explaining that our very active list requires more archive
space. Keeping us on their system is the core of thier business
model. With the price of storage these days, it's worth a try.

Greg?

YIBB,

David

Good point.

I have suggested that everyone have a copy of Thumbsplus (my website
carlsondesign.com or shareware.com), to, at minimum, open and resave JPG's
so increase the compression.

Also, I would encourage those posting pics to review and consolidate them
and even think about shrinking them down a bit in size (using Thumbs or
whatever you like).

Thanks,
Gregg Carlson

I note that we have nearly exhausted our space in files. I will
volunteer to remove some of the reduntant pics that I have posted.
Perhaps our moderator will ajudicate as space becomes limited.
