Water Craft number 24 is now available in the UK. The second article
(for those of you waiting for the postman, with baited breath) is
almost entirely about the technicalities of the electrical system.
Must confess it went straight over my head (most of it anyway).

Seems to me that anybody thinking of building an electrical boat must
first of all convince themselves that appropriate electrical supplies
are to be available wherever she's to be used. These boats are NOT
light, and car topping is not an option :)

Hi Group,
The British magazine Water Craft has a two issue article by PCB & Friend
on his electric boat LILY. The first segment appeared in Water Craft
No. 23, Sept/Oct 2000. The continuation is promised for #24.

There is some interesting thinking in Lily's electrics. The boat is
designed for the home builder, and appears to solve some of the more
onerous problems of using batteries to propel a boat.

I've seen the boat. I watched it being built and I've watched it run.
Its neat.
