Kris,
I have had fantasic results with BM polyamide epoxy primer M33-
M34......works great on epoxy coated surface.
The M28 stuff would appear to be an excellent product for a steel
boat too:-)

Hi Kurt -

That boat in the upper left is "Jesse Cooper" . If I were going to build a cruising sailor instead of "Champlain" ----
That's the one I would pick.

Advance Sharpie 29 in BWAOM is a four
foot stretch of Jessie Cooper. See
Chapter 12 of the book _30-Odd Boats_
for the write up of Jessie Cooper.

That picture on the cover of BWAOM
drove me crazy too! Flipping through
the book like a maniac for years.

There are few negative things which
PCB has written about Jessie Cooper,
but I think he is overly critical.

Measured in bang for the buck, a
Jessie Cooper would be a worthwhile
boat to have.

Features General Properties
This water thinned coating is a film forming material that chemically
converts rust into a black inert non-corrosive iron complex. This
coating provides two step protection in one application. First, it
converts tightly adherent rust into a non-rusting black film. Second,
it provides corrosion protection against new rust forming.
For maximum performance, product should be topcoated. If not
topcoated, leaching could occur if exposed to humidity or moisture.

It's a picture that captures people's attention. See message 3967.

The design is Jessie Cooper. The original writeup is in 30-Odd Boats.
For more and better pictures of that particular boat, see:

http://www.boatdesign.com/tomboy/index.htm

The link in the earlier message didn't work for me today.

Can anyone please tell me what boat it is that is pictured top left of the
