Hi Paul,

I find the idea of someone sailing anything, let alone a schooner, out
of Kalgoorlie to be utterly hilarious - way to go!

In case you haven't already come across it, here is the URL for Tim
Fatchen's schooner page:http://www.ace.net.au/schooner/

Good luck,

it's taken 6 months to find a website that deals (I hope) with the
problems of building bolger boxes. Any help, hints or warnings as i
start my first scarf joint this weekend would be appreciated.
First, some details. Location- KALGOORLIE WESTERN AUSTRALIA
600 KMS FROM THE SEA BUT WITH LAKES UP TO 5KMS LONG DUE TO CYCLONES
FOR 2 YEARS.
Why a folding schooner?- We have to bash our way into lakes with
4wd and a lot of care. Our Hobie 14 (16 ft with rudders lifted) just
gets in through the washouts, but with me(Paul by the way) and a crew
of 4 daughters,3 of whom argue over the trapeze, we need a bigger
boat. THATS MY OFFICIAL EXCUSE. Reason 2-I want to build something a
bit different, big ,but it must fit (with trailer) into a 20'shed.
Any contact would be most appreciated. CHEERS FOR NOW, PAUL DAY.
