John,
Funny that you should mention the rascal rule. I am a member of the Bolger
group and had run into the rascal rule also. I own a Wholesale PHC
Industrial
supply house as well. I bought a stock of them to sell at my stores. If
any of you want one, let me know. I will sell them to bolger members for
$15.00 plus $3.00 shipping.

Our newspaper had a story today about a device that
I suspect would be quite useful in the boatshop. Developed by a Victoria
man, 'RascalRule' is a new folding degree rule that gives the advantage of a
stiff rule yet adapts to many other uses. RascalRule combines the features of a
level, square, bevel, and ruler and its uses include measuring and transferring
bevels and pitches. It sells for $25 Cdn, apparently. Check it out athttp://www.gizaindustrial.com/
