better pictures!
Hello group,
Well, after feeling somewhat sheepish about my penance and
realizing that it will not correct the problem of my HUGE pictures,I
decided to return to the shop that scanned the pictures and let loose
in both official languages with French being the language of choice
when it comes to world class cussing. This appears to have done the
trick and I have added more reasonably sized pictures for your
enjoyment.
I have also decided to scatch the idea of writing out 1000 times
my penance and will instead seek solace within the austere confines
of the oratory whose doors I will breach, after ascending the
multitude of stairs on my knees, sometime around noon today. After a
suitable amount of time has been spent admiring the religious
frescoes, marble statuary and other holy works,I will then sneak into
an empty confession box, carve my initials on the ancient white oak
door frame and whisper the words,"I am sorry".And then, just before
taking my leave of such a sacred domain,I will inhale one last lung
full of incense perfumed holy air which surrounds the faithful in the
hope that my lungs and thoughts will be cleansed and never again push
out any air so evil or thoughts so daring as to suggest I know
anything about computers or pictures.Once my lungs are filled to
bursting with such holy air,I expect to skip lightly and happily all
the way back down those many stairs and cross the street into a
watering hole for some potent holiday beverage.
One final note;the boat pictures were taken this past summer by
Mark Oliver, fellow Bolgerite,as he passed through town on his way to
Europe.I am respondsible for the "interior" and "radar" shots.
Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan, working up a fine thirst as he rummages around trying
to recall where the hell he last left the knee-pads,on the banks of
the St.Lawrence........
