Free boat
It's a junk rigged sailing outrigger kayak. See
http://home.swbell.net/eliz-kev/scout/scout_page.html
I don't use it anymore, I'm active in a dinghy racing class and working on other boats and it's just sitting gathering pigeon poop. It's in Dallas; if someone will use it, they can have it. Email me atK_S_ONeill@....
Kevin
Larry Henry was the first to respond so it goes to him. Besides that, I
could not resist his enthusiasm for the boat. I know she has found a good
home with someone who will enjoy her.
Congratulations, Larry!

I didn't know you moved to FL! Better boating down there, that's for sure...
Still have your Hobie?
How's the baby? We had our second (a boy) last Valentine's day.
I've got a set of Piccup plans myself. It *will* get built one of these
days. Build Piccup and forget the PK78. The extra size will be worth
effort.
I have decided to build the IMB after all. It is really a scaled-up Piccup
with a "Birdwatcher" cabin. I got to tour Tim Webber's Scram Pram in Houston
earlier this year and it convinced me of the concept. Scram is a nice boat,
but it is just too big a project for me right now. IMB isn't really that
much less work than Scram, but it fits a lot better in my workspace.
Best,
JB

I still have not built a boat. I will start one in
JAnuary however. I have plans for a Merteens PK78 but
am now considering building the Piccup Pram for its
easier construction and bigger design.

Probably be able to come get it week between Christmas & NewYears if not

make some space in the old boat yard. To do that, I need to get rid of my
Windsprint. I suppose I could sell it, but there is sort of a tradition on

The boat is in OK condition. It is ready to be repainted and the bottom
would benefit from layer of glass and epoxy.
There are two catches to this deal:
1) The offer is for the hull, rudder, and daggerboard *only*. The sailing

It is small enough to be cartopped if necessary. I'd like to send her to her
new home by January 1, 2000 if possible. The Bolger List and the Bolger
eGroup get first dibs. If I can't get rid of her, I'll offer her on
rec.boats.building in a week or so.
