Re: [bolger] daggerboards
Thanks. I found it and printed it out. Just what I needed
When the snow stops I'll take some snaps of the hull and post them

Sizing Underwater Boards
Derek
All the talk about daggerboards has me
curious.
Is there any rule of thumb you can use in the
placement and size of same?
I have cut out most of the pieces of a sailboat
that I am going to build. it is
eleven ft. six inches long and has a 48" beam. I
intend to use a windsailing
mast that I have and a sabot sail that I think
is about 50 sq ft.
To be honest, I have just about zero
knowledge. I am using the kind of
construction that Dave Carnell used on his $200.
sailboat. It is easy
and quick.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
James Fuller
