Re: OT Yacht Restoration Project
Around here, they usually go back to the bank (or family member) who
loaned the money in the first place, or get absorbed by a mega
plastic-frozen-snot-cookie-cutter boat company. Sad. . .

I've been asked to find anything I can about H.C.Grebe & Co. of
Chicago. A supervisor of a friend has a 1950, 53' Diesel cruiser he
is in the process of restoring. He plans to use it as his retirement
home in about two years.
Does any one know where to find info on the boats of this company?
They went out of business in 1993, I'm told. What usually happens to
the assets of a closed boat builder?
