what about moving the mast aft of the thwart... and just centering the
board there, increase the foremast's boom and lug length a bit to give
a bit more sail area forward... that or add another foresail ? I think
it would be easier to move the mast aft then to construct a whole other
centerboard trunk... your mainsail will be slightly smaller, but the
rig will balance out ok... at least on the computer it looks ok....

Has anyone built or considered a sandbagger/skipjack ?
