Finally got in Yahoo
Whew!!! they really make you jump through hoops, but I finally got to the
files section. Here's how I did it, in case anyone else is having problems.
I'll say first that I tried to go in the front door with normal
registration...too complicated by far, with authorization numbers, etc.
This time, I clipboarded the URL of one of the picture posting notices in my
email and tried to go there. I was halted at the Oops screen. This time, I
was given a "convert" option. I used my old egroups data to get into the
Yahoo registration. This time it simply asked me to fill in all their nosey
questions, which I did desultorily. Bingo! I was in there. I hope they get a
lot of value out of the demographic data I gave them :-)
