"Lion's Paw" is a 38' steel schooner in "30 Odd Boats".

Lion's Paw is a 39' steel sharpie. I don't think that's it.
The Solution 48 is a double-ended motor sailer. It's double-ended, so
it's not really a trawler (more of a sardine carrier?). But, anything
is possible.
If you have a broker listing, or a picture, I would fax PB&F, and ask
the Source.

Seem to remmeber something like this in an early book...Lion's Paw??? Had a
tractor engine in it, or at least was planned for that, if memory serves.

not. What's Bolger more famous for; his instant boats? his boxes? or
HMS Rose?

I am looking for any information that may be available about a 48'
steel hulled pilothouse trawler built in 1980. She is located
currently in Maryland. She is 48' LOA, 12.8' Beam, 2.8' Draft with
22000 disp. Has a tabernacled mast near the bow for a ? "get home"
sail. Doesn't sound like a typical Bolger design, but the listing
agent says she is.
Thanks for any help. Please feel free to reply directly to me at the
