I have data convincingly disconfirming the Duhem-Quine hypothesis.
Learned the hard way:
Building my second "Rubens Nymph," I cut the topsides panels out of two
different sheets of plywood, as per Phil's plywood layout. Then, bending
them around the frames, I found that one of them was very, very stiff, the
other very, very flexible. I have a not at all symmetrical strucure at
this time. Getting it true will be no problem, for proper installation of
the bottom panel will take care of that.
But for the future I will cut both topside panels out of the same sheet of
plywood.
AND: Gougeon gets an awful lot of money for their colloidal silica that we
use to make epoxy putty. What do you know about Fillite, or Cabosil?
