Re: Filler
Bill,
I usually squeegee on a thin scrim of epoxy thickened with
microballoons as my second-to-last (penultimate?) epoxy coating prior
to painting, when using glass cloth. As you have already applied
paint, your best option is to get a sanding filler compatable with
the paint you've used. I wouldn't apply epoxy on top of the paint,
it's too expensive and the paint bond will fail eventually, leaving
you with a mess to remove.
Good luck!

You can add one of the very easy to sand fillers to epoxy, then trowel
it on and sand fair after it cures.
Or use a high build primer.

I guess it's too late, but some boatbuilders use 1 oz cloth or some
kind of non woven veil cloth on the last layer to hide the weave.

I am not a bit pleased, even after efforts at filling and sanding, to be
able to see the weave of the cloth through the final coat of paint.
What do you guys suggest as a filler? Someting to mix into epoxy?
