You know - all I was trying to do was suggest that the 500 lbs of extra
ballast could, possibly, be layered between plywood instead of mounted on the
bottom!:-) Steve

bouyancy of the wood doesn't come into play until the boat sinks. Or
do I need more coffee this morning to get my brain into gear?
Next, the CG. Anything laying in/on the bottom of the boat will
affect the CG.
