Yes the design is now called Merlin . My father built the first Marina Cruiser and called her Merlin. After 10 years use he is now selling her

Another thing to consider is that one would increase the displacement of the boat to float on the same waterline more than one would add weight in materials

About as stable as a big aluminum canoe, which is a lot more stable than the other Bolger pirogues, I take it. I never capsized it, but I assumed it would go
